Mattie Louise Smith "Tiny" Harris, 80, of 210 Wallace Street, Union, SC passed Thursday morning, June 21, 2018 in Spartanburg Medical Center. A native of Chester County, SC, she was the widow of Tom Berry Harris, Sr. and the daughter of the late Shane Smith and Alma Cheek Sims. At an early age she joined Ebenezer Baptist Church in Leeds, SC and was a former employee of Whitten Center of Clinton. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Tommy Bernard Harris, Sr.; two brothers, John Allen Cheek and James William Sims; and one sister, Ardell Minter. Those who remain to cherish memories are: two sons, Richard Berry (Cintra) Harris of Carlisle, SC and Willie Charles (Paula) Harris of Virginia Beach, VA; three daughters, Darlene (Calvin) Brown of Buckeye, AZ, Diane (Samuel) Griffin of Whitmire, SC and Helen (Joe) Neal of Carlisle, SC; two brothers, Robert (Ruby) Cheek of Carlisle, SC and Andrew Bernard Sims of the home; five sisters, Lillie Mae Tucker, Florence Ann Ruth, Virginia Epps, Amie Sims, and Autheree Jeter all of Union, SC; fourteen grandchildren, Kelinda (Antonio) Mitchell, Damien, Christopher B, Jessica Emerson, Tommy B, Takika, Amesha, Larissa, Phedra, Bryant, Kayleigh Harris, Datiahya Hill; two sisters-in-law, Mamie Hamilton, Spartanburg, SC and Susie Mae McMorris, Santuc, SC: and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Community Mortuary Chapel in Union. The family will receive friends at the home. Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, 361 Meansville Road, Union, SC.
