Clarence was born on August 23, 1933 in Lutz, Tennessee to Clarence and Nora Williams Webb, and passed away peacefully on June 20, 2018 in Enid. He was raised in Oklahoma living in many small rural communities. He met and married the love of his life, Dessie Mae Palmer in Marlow on September 20, 1952.
Once married, Clarence worked tirelessly to provide for the family he loved. While working for Wilson’s Packing Company, he found ways to make his daughters smile. One of which was taking them for a simple bag of candy on payday. His three daughters were his most prized possessions, and he loved being their father.
After moving to Enid in the 70‘s, Clarence worked in the oilfield and later owned Webb’s Painting for many years. His family holds dear memories of him painting. Including how he always found ways to get his family involved in his work. Clarence enjoyed his days of painting and met many, many friends that he cherished. In recent years, Clarence worked in home maintenance. Anyone that knew him, knew he was always working and taking care of his family, even at eighty-four years old.
Survivors include, daughters, LaDonna and John Poole of Enid, Debbie and Richard Dollar of Elk City, Linda and Glenn Wright of Elk City; 11 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; brother, John Webb of Medford; numerous nieces and nephews.
