Emma May Morton West, age 87, passed away June 6, 2018 at Community Care of Murfreesboro. She was a lifelong resident of Rutherford County.
Emma was preceded in death by her parents, Minus and Myrtle Morton; husband, Howard William West; son, Bobby West; and son-in-law, Patrick McCollum. She is survived by her sons, Clayton West of Murfreesboro, Mike (Karen) West of Morrison, Jimmy (Jean) West of Rockvale, Mark West of Rockvale; daughter, Barbara West McCollum of Lockhart, TX; brothers, Joe B. Morton, Donald Morton; sister, Lois Perry; eleven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be 4:00-8:00 PM, Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home.
Chapel service will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home with Bobby Maxwell officiating. Burial will follow in Hayes Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
