Obit: Syracuse Newspaper - December 9, 1980 - Services for Cora Lockwood, 68, of Bracket Road, who died Sunday in Cortland Memorial Hospital after a brief illness, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First Baptist Church, the Rev. Duane Roll officiating. Burial will be in Cincinnatus Cemetery. Born May 16, 1912, in Cuyler to Frank and Mina Bush Thompson, she was a life resident of the area. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. On Oct. 13 she and her husband, Thomas, celebrated wedding anniversary. Surviving besides her husband, are five sons, Richard of Cincinnatus, James of Groton, Kevin of McLean and Clesson and Charles, both of Norwich; five daughters, Mrs. Keith Pierce of Groton, Mrs. DeForest (Irene) Hall of Groton, Mrs. Richard (Lois) Martin of Groton, Mrs. Theodore (Margaret) Seeger of Willet and Mrs. Ronald (Luretta) Miller of Marietta; four brothers, Harold Thompson of Cortland, Elmer Thompson of Homer, Alfred Thompson of south Plymouth and Edgar Thompson of Smithville Flats two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Hicks of Homer and Mrs. Minnie D of Cortland; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews and cousins. Calling hours will be 6:30 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
