Mrs. Agnes B. Benson, age 86, of Dallas, Georgia passed away Thursday, June 21, 2018 at The Oaks Assisted Living (Carrollton, Georgia).
Mrs. Benson was born October 18, 1931 in Paulding County, Georgia to Mr. William Monroe Townsend and Mrs. Ester Isabell (Gazaway) Townsend.
Prior to her passing, she was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Mr, Donald Monroe Benson; and her brothers, Mr. J.R. Townsend, Mr. Edward Townsend, Mr. Larry Townsend, Mr. Gene Townsend and Mr. Carroll Townsend.
Agnes is survived by her daughters, Lenda Fowler, Mr. and Tammy Owenby and (Jean Furr; extended generations.
A funeral service for Mrs. Benson will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018 11:00AM at Benson Funeral Home.
Interment will follow at Dallas Memory Gardens.
