"Aunt Molly"
Morton Dies
Mrs. Molly Morton, 91, was found dead in her home in West Hickman about 11 a.m. Saturday. A physician told the family that she had probably died sometime Thursday night or early Friday morning. Death was Probably due to heart failure and old age, the family said.
"Aunt Molly" as she was known and called by everyone who knew here spent most of her life in Hickman.
Funeral services were held at the West Baptist Church Sunday afternoon with the Rev. Lowell Wright officiating. Burial with Archie Kemp, Jodie Hurt, Clarence Chamberlain, Gaylon Williams, Wendell Patey and Jerry Hamblin serving as pallbearers was in City Cemtery with Barrett's Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Seh is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Effie Williams of Woodland Mills; eight grandchildren;eight great grandchildren; and other relatives.
