Paul William (Bill) Jones passed away at his home on Wednesday, January 24, 2018. He was 84. Bill was born January 16, 1934 in Trinidad, Colorado to Paul and Annie Jones, the fourth of eight children. He lived there with his family until joining the army for three years. Afterwards he moved to Pueblo, Colorado where he met the love of his life, Diane Lowe. They were married on June 1, 1956. In 1958 they moved to California. There he worked for 30 years as a computer network engineer. When Bill retired in 1998, they moved to Santa Maria. He enjoyed restoring antique cars, woodworking, and lawn bowling.

Bill is survived by his wife Diane, daughter Ginger (Ginny), son Steven, six grandsons, and one sister, Paula. He was predeceased by his son William, three brothers and three sisters.

At Bill's request, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Santa Maria Humane Society, 1687 W Stowell Rd, Santa Maria, CA 93458 or a charity of your choice.

Arrangements are under the direction of Neptune Society of Santa Barbara.
