Bob served his country proudly as a Sergeant in U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
He was a 50 year member of the Sterling American Legion and a lifetime member of Local 150 of the International Union of Operating Engineers. Bob enjoyed a lifetime of bowling and was known for his woodworking skills. e built a replica of a steam engine and caboose from wood. He built many triangle boxes to hold the casket flags for veterans.
Survivors include two daughters; two sisters; four brothers; and two granddaughters.
He was proceeded in death by his parents; five sisters, Mary, Darlene, Dorothy, Janet, and Pat; and one brother, Ber.
