Roland married a woman named Temperance. Many people erroneously believe her maiden name to be White (a descendant of the Mayflower White's) however, that Temperance White never married and is buried elsewhere. Some people have also ascribed "Burton" as a middle name for Roland but have no proof to back up that claim. It would have been extremely uncommon for Roland to have a middle name in 1760-1761:

"The timing is mirrored in early modern Scotland, says Alice Crook, a PhD student at the University of Glasgow who analyzed Presbyterian records from 62,456 children born in Scotland between 1680 and 1839. She found middle names rare until about 1780 when their popularity began to rise dramatically—almost 99% of children in her sample who had middle names were born after 1780.

In general, then, in Europe, middle names became increasingly popular in the 19th century among all classes. The early United States picked up the same timing and meaning that was seen among the nations from which its colonists hailed... "

Merrill Fabry, "Now You Know: Why Do We Have Middle Names?" August 16, 2016, para. 10-11, e-edition; Time (https://time.com/4451977/history-of-middle-names/ : accessed 19 June 2020)

Roland's pension stated his death occurred on 15 Jun 1864, however, two newspaper accounts from April 1863 contradict that record and give a full age for him which then gives us a full date of birth.
