Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Lee Jefcoat, 69, of Union were held Friday, August 25 at 4:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Union. Revs. Ferrell Cork and Mark Killam officiated with burial in Union cemetery. Stephens Union Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Jefcoat died August 24 at Lairds Hospital. She was a housewife and was born in Choctaw County.
She is survived by her husband, C. A. Jefcoat; three sons, W. M. of Mobile, Ala., James of Meridian and Raymond Jefcoat of Jackson; five grandchildren; two brothers, J. W. and Lewis Kellum, both of Tutwiler.
Serving as pallbearers were Allen Jones, Elbert Willis, Clayton Stribling, Denver Rigdon, Tom Weaver and Frank Lewis.
