He was employed as an Electronics Technician until his retirement in February of 2016. He was a graduate of Travis High School and a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a proud graduate of The University of Texas, played trombone in the Longhorn Band and remained a devoted Longhorn fan. John will be missed very much by his family and friends.
He is survived by his sisters, Patricia and husband, Kenneth, Peggy and husband, Ray, Pamela and husband, Chuck, Phyllis and husband, David; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lucille Flint, brothers, James and Joseph Flint, and sister, Priscilla Green.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on June 23, 2018 at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home and Memorial Park.
