Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Minnie Williams Gower and was a graduate of Crestwood High School.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, and was an information specialist for the Pocono Mountains Vacation Bureau.
Linda loved animals, dogs, horses and horse racing.
In addition to per parents, Linda was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard T. Burke, in 1993; and son, John Burke, in 1971.
She is survived by her children, Thomas Burke and his wife, Lisa, Freeland; Richard Burke, White Haven; and Heather Davies, Mountain Top; and two grandchildren, Nicholas Burke and Abigail Davies.
The funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday from Lehman Family Funeral Service Inc., 403 Berwick St., White Haven, with the Rev. Michelle Kaufman officiating.
Interment will follow in Laurel Cemetery, White Haven.
