Larry Joe Easley, 53, of Tom, OK, passed away in Durant, OK, June 20, 2018. Larry was born January 20, 1965, to Roy Eugene Easley and Imogene (Posey) Bartlett, in Foreman, AR.
Larry Joe worked construction and was a mechanic for a majority of his life, living in McCurtain County off and on. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family but was known as a rambler. Larry Joe never stayed in one place too long. He loved to fish and camp on the river banks and enjoyed the outdoors.
Larry Joe was preceded in death by his father, Roy Eugene Easley; mother, Imogene (Posey) Bartlett; brother, Lonnie Easley; and grandmother, Lela Posey.
Larry Joe leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Shelly Easley, of Cut and Shoot, TX; four children, Brittany and Shirley Easley, and Larry Jr. and Glenn Allen Easley, all of Cut and Shoot, TX; brother, Leanard Easley, of Tom, OK; sister and brother-in-law, Lailonie and Jim Stinnett, of Eagletown, OK; very special step-brother and sister, Patrisha and Deon Byrum; niece, Samantha Sipes; nephew, Codi Stinnett; and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be set at a later time. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brumley Funeral Home, Broken Bow, OK.
