Ruth Reynolds Phillips, 92 of Ashland, KY formerly of Pike County passed away Monday, October 22, 2018 at the Community Hospice Care Center, Ashland, KY. Ruth was born November 26, 1924 at Phyllis, KY to the late Andy Reynolds & Grace Bevins Reynolds. In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Jame E. Phillips, three brothers, Bennett, Carl & Andrew Reynolds, Jr. & four sisters, Opal Greene, Mary Hunt, Jewel Rhinehost & Mildred Reynolds. Ruth is survived by one son, Larry Phillips of Mouthcard, KY; two daughters, Sharon Salmons and Susan Osborne both of Ashland, KY; two grandchildren, Heath Phillips and Shawn Cox; five great-grandchildren, Shavonne Cox, Madison Phillips, Austin Phillips, Matthew Cox & Anna Cox; and one great great-grandchild, Adian Phillips. Ruth is also survived by one brother, William Reynolds of Meta, KY and two sisters, Christine Abshire of Phyllis, KY & Barbara Reynolds of Lexington, KY. Visitation will be from 6-10PM Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with a service at 7PM. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 1PM from the chapel with Frank Crum officiating. Burial will follow at Johnson Memorial Park, Pikeville, KY.
