Emmett "Punky" Bumpass Jones Jr., 79, of Huntsville, died Wednesday, June 13, 2018.
He was born in Arlington, Texas, to Emmett B. Jones and Mary C. Christensen-Jones.
He served in the U.S Army from 1958-1964.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 45 years, Donna G. Jones.
Survivors include his three sons, Danny Jones and Timothy Jones, both of Huntsville, and John Jones of Fayetteville; one daughter, Anna Jones of Manhattan, N.Y.; one granddaughter; one granddaughter and several other family members and friends.
Private family burial will be at Wesley Cemetery.
Funeral services are under the direction of Madison County Funeral Service of Huntsville.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Madison County Road Department to help maintain the county roads.
