Mr. Harden was born in Abilene, Texas, on November 26, 1952, to James Luther Harden and Meda Lou (Henry) Harden. He joined the United States Army in 1972 and served overseas in the Korea as a VEB Mechanic and earned the National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal and Sharp Shooter Badge M-16
He married Linda Denise on February 11, 1978 in Abilene, Texas. After her death he married , Gay Lynn Patrick on August 28, 2010. He is survived by son, James Hardin, Jr., three daughers Mandy Snow, Stacie Snow and Jessica Holland. Son-in-law, Matthew Holland. Niece Audrey Slayton and Paul of Whitesboro. Eight grandchildren. Two Brothers Willie McInis and Samuel McInis.
He was preceded in death by his mother Meda Lou, father James, step-father Willie McInis, first wife Linda, daughter Audra Lynn and sister Annie Louise.
He drove a truck professionally his entire life.
