The Reading Eagle newspaper carried his obituary June 26, 1934, page 20. As follows:

Charles A. Troelsch

West Leesport.
Charles A. Troelsch, Justice of the Peace of this borough, died at 5:05 o'clock last evening at St. Joseph's Hospital, Reading. He was aged 57 years.
Mr. Troelsch was a former resident of Reading, Leesport and Bernville. He was a barber by trade and for a time conducted a shop at 442 Washington Street, Reading. He was a member of Trinity Reformed Church, Leesport; Rainbow Fire Company, Rainbow Relief association; and Fireman's Relief Association.
His wife Phoebe died in 1931.
Before moving her four years ago, Mr. Troelsch resided in Bernville, and prior to that lived in Leesport, where he also served as Justice of the Peace. He had served as Justice of the Peace of West Leesport since 1930. He was born in Philadelphia, as son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Troelsch. Eight grandchildren are the only surviving relatives.
