David Fredrick Reddell, 91, of Dallas, passed away May 18, 2014.

Visitation will be held at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home in Dallas on Thursday, May 22, 2014 from 12:00pm-6:00 pm.

Funeral service will be held at Sparkman/Hillcrest Chapel on Friday, May 23, 2014 at noon with Pastor Jim Barnett of Preston Road Church of Christ officiating.

David was born in Chico, TX on October 7, 1922 to Pearl Fay Harms, mother, and William A. Reddell, father. He was married to Chancy Ruth Reddell “Blue Eyes” for 68 years. He was a WWII veteran served in the US Army Air Corp. He graduated from Texas Tech University and retired from Southwestern Bell as an electrical engineer. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. He was a member of Preston Road Church of Christ and his daily actions reflected his love for the Lord.

David is preceded in death by his parents, Pearl Fay Harms and William A. Reddell and his loving wife, Chancy Ruth Reddell.

The family would like to express a special thank you to Sam and Betty Berry, Linda Ahlgren, his many caregivers, the Forum staff, hospice care, and many other dear friends of Davids.
