Mr. Daryl Lenier Turner was born on February 14, 1970 in Tampa, Florida to Mr. William and Thelma Turner. He grew up in a neighborhood known as Northview Hills and was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County, graduating from Brandon High School. Mr. Turner began his career with the City of Tampa and later became an Independent Contractor Truck Driver.
He renewed his acceptance of Jesus Christ on May 4, 2014. On Friday, June 15, 2018, his spirit was set free to a place of peace, love and tranquility. His rest is sweet and complete. The Lord gave us a special gift and we were truly blessed to have had him in our lives.
He touched so many lives and overall just loved life. He was a very caring person who loved to talk. He would have a conversation with whomever he met and no one was a stranger to him. His favorite past time was watching football and being a die heart Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan, but his true passion was cooking and grilling.
He was preceded in death by: his father, William Turner; mother-in-law, Mary Humphrey; sister, Lathel L. Delaney; brother, Robert N. Gillespie and great grandparents. He leaves to cherish his memory: a loving and devoted wife of 22 years, Luvenia R. Turner; sons, Christopher D. Smalls, Aaron Robinson and Demitrus D. Bailey; daughters, Erica D. Nelson Turner, Dakeryia S. Turner and Daisha M. Turner; 14 grandchildren; mother-in-law, Frances Scott; brothers, James Ricks, Reginald Ricks, William Turner, Michael Ricks and Déandre Turner; brother-in-law, Kendrick Scott (Tonya); sisters, Selina Ross and Cecelia Ricks; sisters-in-law, Katrina Scott Hadley (Steve), Sandra Humphrey and Elizabeth Humphrey; uncles, Ronald Gillespie, Jerome Harris (Yvonne) and Willie L.
