Colleen F. Schneider (Atterbury), 84, of Medford, Oregon, passed away at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center with her husband and daughter by her side. She was born July 29, 1933 in Roseburg, Oregon to Elmo P. Atterbury and Vernieta M. Atterbury.
Colleen graduated from Medford High School in 1951. She married Don Schneider on June 22, 1952. She worked as a secretary and was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing bridge, sewing, watching her grandchildren, and playing sports.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Don Schneider; son, Roger (Jen) Schneider of Stanfield, Ore.; daughter, Melissa (Mike) Fealey of Medford, Ore.; brother, Richard E. Atterbury (Rose Marie); grandchildren, Duncan and Dakota Schneider of Stanfield, Ore., and Thomas and Kendall Fealey of Medford, Ore.; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Sharon Christlieb and Mary Ellen Plankenhorn (Bob).
A private family service will be held at Eagle Point National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Medford Mustangs, P.O. Box 1254, Medford, OR.
