She attended elementary schools in Buena Park, California. She was graduated from Monache High School, the first graduating class, in 1971.
Pam married Danny Phipps and had two children, Eliot and Jennifer. While Danny attended CSU Bakersfield, Pam obtained her training as a Psychiatric Technician and worked at Porterville State Hospital. She later obtained her Licensed Vocational Nurse degree at Bakersfield College and worked as a nurse until she retired.
Pam is survived by her two children, Eliot of Visalia and Jennifer Matheson of Rancho Cordova; two sisters, Roberta Bostick Ross (Alvin Ross) of Arkansas, and Janice Bostick Coburn Dungan (David Q (DQ) Dungan) of Visalia; four nephew, Brian Ross (Jessica) of Arkansas, Kevin Ross of Porterville, Duane Coburn (Mariah) of Porterville, and Joshua Coburn of Eureka, California; also survived by two granddaughters of Rancho Cordova and several grand nieces and nephews of Porterville.
Pam was a member of Linda Vista Church of Christ of Porterville.
Pam always had a fun-loving personality. The party never started without Pam there. She had a loving, giving, caring spirit. Although she struggled with chronic illness, she always thought of others and gave to those in need. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is now whole and in the loving arms of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
A burial service will be held at San Joaquin National Cemetery in Santa Nella, California on June 27, 2018 at 10:00 am.
A memorial service will be held at Church of Christ of L.D.S. on Newcomb in Porterville, California on June 29, 2018 at 10:00 am.
