Funeral services for Bill Neal, 57, were held Friday, April 20, 2018, at Madisonville Funeral Home in Madisonville. The Revs. Josh Schwarz and Bobby Cliett officiated the service. Interment followed in the Andrews Cemetery in Madison County. Pallbearers were John Neal, Clay Nash, Joey McIver, Darren Farkash, Michael Warren and Justin Vaught. Billie Stephen “Bill” Neal was born Dec. 28, 1960, in Madisonville, to John Idie and Joann (Andrews) Neal. He worked as a truck driver for Canadian Truck Line. Bill loved being outdoors. Mowing on his tractor or lawn mower was a favorite activity of Bill’s, as well as fishing and cooking barbecue on the grill. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and loved when all of his children and granddaughter were together at home under one roof. Bill had been a lifelong resident of Madison County. He passed away April 17, 2018, in Bryan, following a brief illness. Bill was preceded in death by his father; stepfather and both maternal and paternal grandparents. Surviving family members include wife, Becky Neal, of Madisonville; mother, Joann Neal of Madisonville; son, Gabe Neal of Madisonville; daughters, Brooke Fancher of Madisonville, Stefani Neal of Austin and Taylor (Patrick) Evans of Madisonville; granddaughter, Autumn Aliese; brothers, Randy (Pat) Neal of Huntsville and Ronnie Neal of Madisonville ; special friend, Bobby Cliett; and numerous extended family and friends.
