Captain George J Kowatt, 32, overseas 27 months with a bomb demolition squad. Wounded seven days after D-Day, he was returned to the United States for treatment in Fletcher General Hospital, Cambridge, Ohio, Sept 1. Last Monday, Captain Kowatt died of diphtheria. Private funeral services will be held for him at 11 a.m. tomorrow. He leaves his mother, Mrs. Anna Kowatt, 3846 Celeron; his wife, Olive Marie, and a brother, Lawrence.
