Pris was born on June 6, 1923, in Reading, Mass., to the late Harold K. Veazie and Bernice L. Veazie. Priscilla attended prep school in New England and trained as a lab technician before she married Arthur "Mike" Gray on May 4, 1946. They celebrated their 60th anniversary in 2006. She and her husband were stationed in Texas, Virginia, New York, Jerusalem, Jordan and Florida. They had been residents of Fort Walton Beach since 1960.
Priscilla was preceded in death by her husband and her two sisters. She is survived by her three daughters, Valerie Babcock and husband John, Pamela Hugo and husband Jim, and Leslie Conley and husband Mike; sister-in-law, Natalie Linger; grandchildren, Rebecca and Christina Babcock, Lorie Anderson, James "Toge" Hugo, and Rachel and Patrick Conley; six great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and friends; and their beloved dog, Zorro.
A graveside celebration of life will be held at Beal Memorial Cemetery in Fort Walton Beach on Saturday, Jan. 26, at 11 a.m.
If preferred, the family requests donations be made to an Alzheimer's charity, in lieu of flowers.
McLaughlin Mortuary is entrusted with the arrangements.
