Kevin Curtis Barber, 61, of Ringoes, NJ, passed away Friday, Aug. 19, 2016, at home, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Schenectady, NY, Mr. Barber lived most of his years in the Ewing area, before moving to Ringoes in 2011. Mr. Barber worked with a number of railroads spanning his 39-year career. Most recently, he worked for Amtrak, where he retired with more than 10 years of service. He was a member of the Calvary Chapel of Mercer County and served on over 20 mission trips to Belize, Nepal, England, Mexico, and Kenya, and worked with Samaritan's Purse during the clean up after 9/11 and Hurricanes Katrina and Sandy. Son of the late Darrell and Bess Hutson Barber, he is survived by his wife of 40 years, Robin; his son and daughter-in-law, Joshua and Renee Barber; his daughter and son-in-law, Rebekah and Ryan Ippolito; his eight grandchildren, and his mother-in-law, Doris Stemmer. A memorial service will be held this Saturday morning at 10 a.m. at Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia, 13500 Philmont Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19116. A light refreshment will follow at the church.
