Nicholas Levi “Nick” Newton, resident of McCrory, Arkansas departed this life alongside his wife, Kayanna Whittaker Newton on Saturday, June 16, 2018. He was 30 years of age. He was born in Millington, Tennessee on March 24, 1988, the son of Lawrence E. Newton and Judy Taylor Fletcher.

Nick married Kayanna on July 25, 2017 where they spent 10 months together before their deaths. He was employed on the farm in the agriculture field. A love for the outdoors, you would have seen him either riding four wheelers, listening to loud music while mudding, fishing, hunting duck, deer and arrowheads.

Nick is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Carl and Mildred Newton. He is survived by his son, Lynden Tucker Newton of McCrory, Arkansas, his mother, Judy Fletcher and husband Jimmie of Harrisburg, Arkansas, his father, Lawrence E. Newton of Maumelle, Arkansas, one sister, Amber Bundren of McCrory, Arkansas and maternal grandparents, Eddie and Alta Taylor of McCrory, Arkansas.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Darin Alberson, Johnny Betts, Jason Bottoms, Danny Hicks, Jimmy Laws and Michael Russell. Honorary pallbearers were Billy Brown Jr. and Blake Bunch.
