Jennifer Michelle Richards, age 39, of McHenry, passed away on Friday, June 15, 2018, at her home. Born on November 12, 1978 in Escondido, CA to Joan Buchholz and William Denton, she graduated from Buffalo Grove High School. Jenn attended Harper Community College and was devoted to being a wonderful stay-at-home mother to her children.
Endearingly known as “Peanut” by her friends & family, Jenn was beautiful inside and out. She was smart, silly, and sweet from the day she was born. Jenn loved strongly, forgave easily, and smiled brightly. She enjoyed the simple things in life like making others laugh, being silly with her kids, watching movies, reading, and showing off her personality by wearing her crazy, but comfy socks. However, nothing truly ever compared to how much she enjoyed spending time with the ones she cared about. The most important thing to Jenn was her children and she loved them with all her heart. She will forever be missed and always be loved.
Left to cherish her memory are her precious children, Ethan, Emma-Leigh, and Elijah; her loving mother, Joan Buchholz; her fond father, William Denton; and her dear siblings, Amy Damore and Michael Damore.
Jenn was preceded in death by her step-father, Alan Buchholz; and grandparents Jack & Margaret Damore, William & Bess Denton, and Betty Buchholz.
