Phillip W. Carter, 77, of Madisonville, KY, passed away May 8, 2018 at Baptist Health Hospital in Madisonville.
He was born on August 14, 1940 in Central City, KY to the late Otho and Sarah Ball Carter; he was preceded in death by one sister, Edith Marie of Central City, KY; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Alice Carter of Old Hickory, TN, Herschel and Willard Carter, and sister-in-law, Doris Jean Carter all of Louisville.
Mr. Carter was a disabled retired Air Force veteran having served in Germany.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. June 18, 2018 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, KY with military rites conducted by the USAF and Pennyrile Honor Guard. Entombment will follow at the cemetery.
