Brother of Rev. Ernest Angley
Mr. Angley was the retired owner and operator of Clyde’s Heating and Air Conditioning. Prior to that, he owned a Dunkin Donuts franchise in Charlotte. Mr. Angley was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the US Air Force for over 20 years. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Angley was preceded in death by a brother, Judson Angley, and sisters, Leitha Crisp, Lillian Smith, Cleo McDonald and Bea Medlin.
Family and friends of Clyde Angley are invited to attend his visitation beginning at 11:00 AM until 12:45 PM Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia with his funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM in Founders Chapel. The Rev. Brian Matherlee and the Rev. Scott Lee will officiate. Burial with military honors will follow in Gaston Memorial Park.
