Verga Lue Bishop Mock peacefully returned home to her Heavenly Father on June 18, 2018 in Holladay, Utah. She was born on July 3, 1930 to Robert and Clara Bishop. She was number nine of ten children and born in a small mining community called Morhland, Utah. She attended school at North Emery High School and graduated in 1948.
Verga loved to dance where she met Henry Paul Mock whom she married on Sept. 27, 1958. She adopted his daughter, Le Lane Mock, then they had two more children of their own, Denece Haddenham and Kevin Mock. They moved between California and Utah, but returned to build a home and their lives in Sandy, Utah. Verga always loved her mountains!
Verga is survived by her daughter Denece (Steven) Haddenham; son Kevin Mock; grandsons Michael Mock, Christopher Mock, and Joshua (Felicia) Haddenham; granddaughter Courtney (Christopher) Godfrey; and nine great grandchildren. Verga is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Clara Bishop; all nine of her siblings; her husband Henry Paul Mock; daughter Le Lane Mock; and grandson Jason Heinz.
Verga Mock will be laid to rest on Saturday, June 23, 2018. A viewing prior to the funeral will begin at 10:00 AM with funeral services at 11:00 AM at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Rd.
