Mrs. Jennie C. Peters, fifty-four, wife of Ray Peters, 1217 Elm Ave., died at 8 p.m. yesterday at the Lancaster General Hospital after an illness of two months. She was born in Lancaster, a daughter of Anne L. Ulrich Frey Eshbenshade and the late John Frey and was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical and Reformed Church. Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Charles R., at home; her mother, Strasburg; a brother, Granville J. Frey, Lancaster; two sisters, Mary, wife of Christ S. Mylin, Witmer Road; Elsie, wife of Charles Hacker, Lancaster; and two grandchildren. (Lancaster New Era - June 5, 1947)
