Laura George Warren went home to be with God on Saturday June 16, 2018.

She was born on September 3, 1938, in Blount County, TN. She was a graduate of Hale High School in Maryville and a member of Mother Love Missionary Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by parents, Carl and Clara George; brothers, Alfred Cochran, James Cochran, Carl George Jr.; sister Louise Echols, half-sister Pauline Paxton, grandsons, Chris Anthony, Brandon Chase Warren.

Laura leaves to cherish her memory, children Jeffery (Mickie) George, Carleen (Abdual) Kinte, David (Mellissa) George, Nate (Sara) Warren, Lamar (Donna) Warren, Chris Warren, Jule, Jennifer Warren; grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews; devoted cousins, Virginia Anderson and George family of Knoxville.

Special thanks to caregiver Nancy Brumitte.

Family will receive friends on Saturday June 23, 2018, from noon-1:00 p.m. with funeral service to follow at Mother Love Missionary Baptist Church Louisville, Rev. Dr. Gary Hill Officiating. Interment will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery Maryville, following the service. Body may be viewed after noon on Friday June 22, 2018, at Foothills Funeral Home Chapel.
