Memorial services for Mrs. Flora Elizabeth Moore of West Monroe, LA will be 2:00pm Saturday, June 16, 2018 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home West Monroe. Visitation will be from 1:00pm until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Moore was born November 13, 1931 in Arkansas City, AR and passed from this life on June 13, 2018 in West Monroe, LA at the age of 86.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Dwight Moore; her parents, John and Audrey Middleton; two sisters, Gertrude Manning and Kay Wightehurst; one brother, Jack Middleton; and son-in-law, Terry Walker.
Survivors include her children, Bruce Moore and wife, Faye of Arlington, TX, Steve Moore of Arlington, TX, Dawn Walker of Start, Shelia Moore of West Monroe, and Vickie Hicks and husband, Bennie of West Monroe; two sisters, Margrete Etier of Keithville and Francis Ross of Rayville; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the River Cities Humane Society for Cats, 5302 Desiard St. Monroe, LA 71203.
