LELIA LAKE - Willard "Bud" Butler, 84, of Lelia Lake, died Saturday, April 11, 1998.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Llano Mausoleum Chapel with Don Stone, Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St.
Mr. Butler was born in Hall County. He was a veteran of the Army. He had been employed as a heavy equipment operator. He lived in Las Vegas, N.M., and Amarillo prior to moving to Lelia Lake after his retirement in 1973. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include a daughter, Betsy Butler Thorne of Amarillo; a sister, Florine Bennett of Clarendon; a brother, W.H. Butler of Graham; and a grandson.
The family request memorials be to a favorite charity.
