Sally Jo Gordon, age 79, of Fostoria, passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at her home.
She was born October 9, 1938 in Fostoria to the Merrill K. and Stella (Pinyard) Ward. She is survived by her children, Terry (David) Stevens, of Findlay, Cindy Jo (Daniel) Coppler, of Alvada, Dennis Hill, of Fostoria, Scott (Cindy) Hill, of Fostoria, and Jon (Tressie) Hill, of Clyde; 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; one brother, Jimmy Dale (Sherrie) Ward, of Wellington, Ohio; and one sister-in-law, Deb Ward, of Findlay. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Merrill Ward.
Sally Jo was a 1956 Fostoria High School graduate. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She had a special affection and love for her two cats, Chester and Miss Kitty.
Funeral services will be held 1 pm on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Mann-Hare-Hoening Funeral Home, 407 N. Countyline Street, Fostoria, with an hour of visitation prior to the service. Burial will be in Fountain Cemetery, Fostoria.
