Bobby Franklin "Bob" Sparks, 78, of Newbern, Tennessee died on Sunday, June 17, 2018, at West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Friday, May 17, 1940 in McComas, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Joseph Wattie Sparks and the late Hazel Gertrude Barlow Sparks.

He was a retired employee of Goodyear Tire Company.

In honor of Bob's wishes cremation services are under the direction of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Sharyn Parker Sparks of Newbern, Tennessee: two daughters, Lisa Moore (William "Slim") of Newbern, Tennessee and Laura Bartlett (Chad) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; four grandchildren, James William Moore, Lanna Jo Moore, Chase Bartlett and Maggie Bartlett; one sister, Janie Stanger (Joe) of West Virginia; five brothers, Joe Sparks (Mary) of Arizona, Buddy Sparks (Pam) of Virginia, Ricky Sparks(Maxine) of West Virginia, Fred Sparks (Frances) of West Virginia and Dean Sparks (Anita) of West Virginia.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters, Evelyn Repass, Jean Dillo and Sue Repass and four brothers, Carl Eugene "Boogie" Sparks, Elmer Sparks, Donnie Sparks and Delton Stanley Sparks.
