Larry McCormick, 83, of Greeley, passed away on March 15, 2018 in Greeley, Colorado. He was born to Archie and Gladys (Kirk) McCormick on December 17, 1934 in Madrid, Nebraska.

He attended the University of Nebraska and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. While there, he served in ROTC and later went on to serve as a reservist in the US Army.

Larry was very detail-oriented and was a great record keeper. He loved following Nebraska Huskers athletics, specifically basketball and football and would dress all in red to watch. He loved watching all sports. Above all, he truly love d his family and especially his grandkids.

Larry is survived by his wife of 16 years, Joan McCormick; daughter, Julie (John) Reimers; grandchildren, Joshua (Michelle) Reimers and Jacob (Ashley) Reimers; 3 great-grandchildren, Brother, Leonard McCormick; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Eldon, Francis, Wyvonne, and Patricia.

Celebration of Larry’s life will be held on Wednesday March 21, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Cornerstone Community Church, 1321 9th Ave in Greeley, Colorado.
