Eva Joyce Martin, 75, of Thompson, passed away at 10:52 p.m. on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.
Memorial services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at Arnold Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Avery officiating. Entombment will follow at the East Lawn Memorial Park Columbarium.
Visitation is Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Joyce was born February 3, 1943 in Mexico, the daughter of Crystal Lemasters. On April 28, 1962 in Mexico, she married Jessie Martin.
Mrs. Martin was a 1961 graduate of Mexico High School. She had worked for Florsheim Shoe Company and was a member of Church of God Holiness.
Survivors include her husband, Jessie Martin of the home; two daughters, Kimberly Martin of Thompson and Melissia (David) Blair of Mexico; one son, Jessie Martin of Columbia; three grandchildren, David-Jesse Blair, Chad Blair, and Danielle Blair, all of Mexico; four siblings, Mary Martin of Winona, Missouri, Jean (Kenneth) Smith of Mexico, James (Marilyn) Lemasters of Columbia; and Beverly Tate of Mexico.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Crystal Brandenburg; and three siblings, Robert Brandenburg, Goldie Davis and Kaye Wheat.
