Maureen Sherman Neugebauer, 40, Menoken, North Dakota, was born on April 6, 1951, in Bismarck, the daughter of Ivan and Gladys (Tucker) Sherman. She was raised on the family farm near Menoken and attended school in Menoken and Bismarck. She graduated from Bismarck High School and attended Interstate Business College in Fargo. She received her associate of arts degree from Bismarck State College.

Maureen married Ronald Neugebauer on May 30, 1972 in Bismarck. They had been engaged in farming and ranching north of Menoken since their marriage.

Maureen died at the family home home near Menoken on January 26, 1992.

She worked for Singer Sewing and Eckroth Music. She had been working in the payroll department at the University of Mary.

Maureen and Ron both enjoyed nature and hunting, fishing, and traveling together. They were both certified scuba divers. Maureen was a member of Menoken Homemakers.

She is survived by one son, Michael; her parents, Ivan and Gladys Sherman, Menoken; brothers: Michael and Marvin Sherman, both of Bismarck; Merle (Helene), Menoken; and twin brother Maurice (Linda), Driscoll.
