Gail was a graduate of Cortland State Teacher’s College in Physical Education. Gail taught Physical Education at Hancock Central School for 4 years, and then taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades for 30 years at South Seneca Central School. She is survived by her children, Douglas (Donna Segura) Snyder of Sunnyvale, CA, Tammi (Jeffrey) Hanson of Cleveland, OH, Ronald “Tiger” (Lisa) Snyder of Knoxville, TN, Kenneth (Marcia Simon) Snyder of Gaithersburg, MD, and Terri (Rick) Soltis of Saline, MI, sisters Jean Gibson and Jo Currier, 14 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 1 niece, 1 nephew, and former husband Raymond Snyder. Gail was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Rocelia (Stilwell) Howard, and brother, Ivory Howard.
