Dolores “Lorrie” Jordan of Mesquite, Texas passed away on June 12, 2018 at the age of 76. Lorrie found much deserved rest with her peaceful passing. She defied a multitude of doctors by living long past their expectations. Those who loved her believe that her devotion to family kept her going. Her unconditional love for her children and grandchildren was immense. Lorrie was artistically gifted. It showed in the beautifully handcrafted cards that she sent to loved ones on special occasions. Her selflessness and talents were on display at every holiday meal where her pumpkin pie was unrivaled. She had a beauty inside that she didn’t know was there. You could see it when she spent hours on the floor learning and laughing with her grandbabies. Mom/Grandma/G’ma/Chub/Lorrie, as she was lovingly referred to, was loved unconditionally too.

She is preceded in death by her husband Jerry and her mother, Anita Vizcaino Willis. She is survived by her four children, Jeffrie Jordan, Jennifer Jordan, Jackie Carroll and husband Todd, and Justin Jordan; grandchildren, Jerry Morrish, Callie Carroll, Jordan Morrish, Carley Carroll and Maggie Jordan; sister Roberta Johnson and husband Martin Johnson, brother William H. Willis and wife Mary Lou Willis, sister Jo Anne Vanhorn and husband Eual Vanhorn, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Lorrie didn't want her death to be a time of sorrow, so the family will forego a funeral and have a celebration of her life at a date to be determined.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Lung Association or charity of choice.
