She was born September 25, 1944, in Wheeling, the daughter of the late Hazel Marie Burris Hall and Thomas Hall.
Lela was a member of the Elm Grove Eagles, enjoyed crocheting and cooking for the kids and was Catholic by Faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, James Timothy “Bud” Gordon; two brothers, Paul and Tom Hall and one sister, Flossie Morris.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, James “Jim” Gordon; two sons, Charles (Paula) Gordon of FL and their children Cody, Cole, and Christina Gordon, Michael (Conny) Gordon of IL and their children Jessica (Brian) and Justin (Jessie) Gordon; one daughter, Cathy Smith of Wheeling and her children, James (Mercedes), Orville (Alexis) and Lela (Anthony) Smith; two great-grandchildren, Clayton Smith and Milo Gordon; two sisters, Anna (Jerry) Kavanas of Triadelphia and Sandy Rader of Wheeling; two brothers, Jimmy (Eloise) Hall of OH and Ralph (Jean) Hall of Wheeling, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Interment will follow in Halcyon Hills Memorial Park, Sherrard, WV.
