Billy Lee Maxwell was born November 29, 1929 in Howes Mill, MO to Jesse Jake and Minnie B (Sellers) Maxwell. He passed away June 13, 2018 at Houston House, Houston, MO at the age of 88.

Bill grew up in Howes Mill, MO and graduated from Caledonia High School in 1947. He married Maudeline Davis April 22, 1949 in Salem, MO and to this union two boys were born, Roger and Dennis.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Mildred Victor and Jeanette Sims.

He was a longtime member of Houston First Baptist Church. Bill worked for Kraft foods, Forbes Rexall Drug and was a bus driver for Houston Schools. He was also a Sales Representative in paint sales for several years, calling on businesses around the area.

Bill enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and family get togethers. He especially enjoyed fish fry’s at Rogers and pizza parties and Holidays at Dennis’. Bill could be found just about every morning drinking coffee and visiting with his buddies at McDonalds.

Bill was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
