Carol was a graduate of Williamstown High School Class of 1944 and had been employed at Monongahela Power Company in Parkersburg as a cashier. She was a member of the Pennsboro Church of Christ.
On March 20, 1949, she married Archie M. Carpenter, Sr. who preceded her in death on June 5, 2006.
She is survived by her son Archie (Earlene) Carpenter, Jr. of Pennsboro, WV; 2 granddaughters, Laura and Anna Carpenter; stepbrother Eddie Dearth of Wheeling, WV, stepsister Barbara Elliott of Vienna, WV.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, stepfather Berlin Dearth, sister, Letha Mae Cline and 2 stepbrothers, Ronnie and Francis Dearth.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday (June 20) at 10:30 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home in Marietta with interment in Riverview Cemetery in Williamstown.
