Services for Mrs. Nannie Mae Denton, 73, of Post were held at Wise Funeral chapel Monday afternoon with the Rev. O. R. Carry officiating. Burial was in Sunnyside cemetery at Savoy.

Mrs. Denton died in Post at 7:20 p.m. Saturday, July 12, 1975.

She was the widow of Robert William Denton.

She was born Sept. 22, 1901, at Savoy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Large.

Survivors are one son, Clarence Denton; one daughter, Mrs. Frances Edwards of Post; one brother, Jack Large of McAllen, five grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Active pallbearers were Ed Ohmert, H. G. Dulaney, Butch Ray, Shirley Sells, John Smith and Jack Bellows.
