Mrs. David Reed of 62 Putnam Ave.. Ormond Beach. Fla., died in a Daytona Beach Hospital. Sunday. Feb. 9. 1969.
She was born Dec. 21. 1918. in Port Allegany. Pa., the daughter of Willard F. and Mabel Stone Schoonover. She was a graduate of Hemlock High School. Mrs. Reed operated a beauty parlor in Livonia for many years closing the shop in 1957. Following the closing she made her home in Florida and was employed in a florist shop there.
Mrs. Reed is survived by her husband David Reed, Ormond Beach; two step-daughters. Mrs. Dolores Metts of Columbus. Ga.. and Miss Linda Reed of Ormond Beach. Fla.; one brother. Darwin Schoonover of Livonia; two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Teter of Rice Lake. Wise., and Mrs. Mary Cox of Daytona Beach, one step granddaughter; three step-grandsons, several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call this afternoon. Thursday, at the Brown Funeral Home. 20 Washington St.. Livonia. Services will be this evening. Thursday, at 8 p.m. with the Rev. Robert Mahaffy officiating.
Interment will be in Union Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
Prior to her marriage to Mr. Reed, she was the widow of Basil Shulters who predeceased her in May of 1957
