Donnie Lynn Johnson, age 88, passed away on August 16, 2021 at his home in Morley, MO. He was born on March 12, 1933 in Sikeston, MO. to the late Roy and Hallie Wyatt Johnson. He was a member of Morley Baptist Church in Morley, MO. Donnie had a servant's heart; he served in the United States Air Force., he served as a Scott County Sheriff's Reserve Officer for over thirty years; he had served as a volunteer fireman for the Morley Fire Dept. and he worked for the Scott County Ambulance Service for sixteen years before retiring in 1995. On February 20, 1954 in Hernando, MS. he married Kay Seymour Johnson who preceded him in death on October 29, 2019. Survivors include one son, David "Chip" (Cheryl) Johnson of Morley, MO.; three daughters, Leah Somers of Morley, MO., Donna (Mike) Watkins of Sikeston, MO. and Leslie (Steve) Rhyne of Carterville, IL.; daughter-in-law, Sandra Johnson of Wyatt, MO.; one brother Billie (Mary) Johnson of Amarillo, TX.; two sisters, Jo Ann Lambert of Sikeston, MO. and his twin Bonnie Stinski of Healdsburg, CA.; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and three special friends, Lisa Radica, Kathy Jackson and Andrew Cheaney. In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by three sons, Danny Johnson, Ricky Johnson and Jimmy Johnson; a son-in-law, Wallace Somers; six sisters and three brothers. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Morley Baptist Church in Morley, MO., Bro. David Thompson, pastor at Morley Baptist Church, and Bill Gadberry Jr., officiating. Burial will follow in the New Morley Cemetery in Morley, MO.

Pallbearers were Michael Johnson, Gary Mize Jr., Damon Helton, James Williams, Andrew Cheaney and Dale Kincade.
