Betty ( Jackson ) Berg went home to be with the Lord on May 28th. She was preceded in death by her son, Dr. Charles Berg, her husband Carl ( Kelly ) Berg, two sisters , Sarah Surkala & Josephine Melzer and three brothers, Robert Jackson, James Jackson & William Jackson. She is survived by her daughter, Sally (Berg) Coatoam, daughter-in-law, Helen (Zarambo ) Berg, nephew & niece, Jim & Caroline Buchheit. Also 7 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Betty had resided in Medina, Ohio the last 8 years. She was born in Desire ; the daughter of John Jackson & Lydia (Malone) Jackson. She graduated from Reynoldsville High School and DuBois Business College. Her last place of employment was National Fuel Gas in DuBois, where she worked as a stenographer and bookkeeper for 13 years. She was a member of the Treasure Lake Church. She volunteered at DRMC West & East in the snack bar for sixteen years. She was buried at the Desire cemetery. She will be dearly missed.
