April C. Gibson 72 of Crystal Lake passed away on Monday, June 11, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 23, 1945 at home to Sam Matz and Syliva Roewer. April worked taking care of the elder and disabled children, she also worked 15 years at Sun Electric. April cherished spending time with her family, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was also an avid Cubs fan. She is survived by her 3 children, Christy Gibson, Bobbie (Mark) Fredricksen, Rod Gibson; 4 Grandchildren: Garrett Landwehr, Christina (Nic) Koeppler, Joseph Gibson, Sami Fredricksen, 2 great-grandchildren; Lucas Gibson, Clayton Gibson, 5 Siblings: James (Lois) Matz, Judy Murison, Lolly (Wayne) Elam, Jan (Sham) Bisram, Mitzi (Bill) Bickley. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Daughter, Gina Christine Gibson; Son Brian Melvin Gibson. A celebration of her life will be held from 4:00pm to the 7:00pm memorial service on Saturday, June 23, at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake.
