CHAFFEE—Clifton E. Butler 62 years old, of Chaffee died Sunday at a hospital in St, Louis. He was an employee of the Frisco Railroad for 32 years, and had retired in 1957.

Mr. Butler was born in Henderson County, Texas, April 10, 1903 and was a son of Mr and Mrs. John Buller.

He married Miss Virginia A. Whittier of Flat River April 9, 1938. They were married in St. Louis.

Surviving besides his wife are a daughter, Mrs. Jerry Brantley. Scott City: a grandson, James C. Brantley, Scott City, and a sister, Mrs Pearl Butler, Sikeston. Mr. Butler was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

Services will be conducted at the church at 2 Wednesday by the Rev. Win. Marshall and the Rev. Clay Brooks. The body is at the Bisplinghoff Funeral Home here. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery.
